Being close to transport and great cafes and restaurants
Curves restaurant is not very appealing
We prefer to stay at Vibe Milson's Point when we go to Sydney because it is close to the North Sydney Pool- where we like to swim. It is very close to the train or the ferry for trips into the city and elsewhere. If time is not an issue it is also easy to walk across the Bridge to the Rocks and the city. Milson's point has good restaurants and cafes at Kirribilli or McMahon's Point in close walking distance to Vibe. There are also lovely walks around Lavendar bay, Mc Mahon's point and Kirribilli. Staying at Vibe Milson's Point allows you to enjoy the city but it has a less hurried feel than a hotel right in the city or in the Rocks.
I think the hallways and lift foyers are a bit dingy. I think it is the colour of the carpet and the fact that it looked a little worn and marked in places.
I liked it was close to public transport into the city..next time would get a room higher up to enjoy the views
It was raining the whole time we were there..not your fault i know but will have to wait a while til our next visit
Cocktails were not in a martini glass.
Location was ideal for CBD of Sydney with an easy stroll to train and ferry and quick connections to the airport.
The hotel looked like a painted over version of a former hotel that had been assumed by the new owners/management with some tired looking furniture and lack of real character in the rooms and public areas. Serviceable but ho-hum. Perhaps their properties on Gold Coast and Melbourne are more individual.
Location, easy walk over the bridge into Sydney city.
The fact that if I wanted to pay cash for my stay, so not to incur the credit card processing fee, Vibe required me to not only pay for the nightly rate but an additional bond for each night to cover mini bar etc. What a joke. We regularly travel all over the world and no other hotel chain requests such excessive additional charges. I asked for something to be fixed in the room and although I was promised maintenance would fix it they didn't. Then the toilet wouldn't stop flushing so we had to move rooms. Such an inconvenience.
Unfortunatly I had to cut my stay short as I had to deal with the death of my father but I would like to say that the staff assosiated with the vibe hotel where ffirst class making my exit from the hotel as easy as possable considering my mental state I was rembursed for 2 nights that I had to leave and for parking that I didnt use I would like to give everyone there my warmest and sincere thanks for all the help provided me and will defenatly stay in the future thanks again for all the help
Nice hotel & great location.. me & my husband went to a concert in Luna Park & the hotel was just up the road. Room was great.. we could still see lavender bay from our room which was a bonus.. would definetly stay there again
Didn't like how they put the room charge on hold on my debit card which I didn't get back for another 5 days.. they should of just charged me straight away & I would of been happy to pay any additional charges on check out. Doing this meant that my card got declined because the money I had in there was put on hold & we ended up having to use my husbands debit card.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to train station without the noise factor! So close to the Harbour and all it's attractions.
Location is great. We had a function to attend at Luna Park and found the hotel's proximity perfect. Loved the balconey on level 2. We had drinks on the balconey and the view was great.
Location to railway station clean and modern
The housekeeping. We arrived back from our day out at 4.30pm to find our room hadnt been cleaned. Reception asked us to vacate the room so as this could be rectifyed which we duly did, getting back at 9.30 to find that yes the room had been cleaned but milk etc had not been replenished. Swimming pool, sauna etc looked tired.
Location and good value for money
Cleanliness of the room - the shower was very mouldy and not that big so wouldn't have taken much to clean - our used cups were not even washed twice and the bed making was very average - the tv also didn't work but we were out all day at a course so didn't bother with it - hot water in shower was very erratic we almost scalded ourselves several times
It was very convenient location for my visit to compete in the ballroom competition at Luna Park
I have seen your adverts in the Virgin Mag and wanted the room to look like that. It didn'T. Also I didn't have a view except to look at a wall of the building next door. That was very depressing for me
Not in a busy area.... close to Luna Park for Dance Competition
Single beds... booked as single person... queen bed would have better
In house movies. The range of movies offered on the preview screen were not available when you clicked on A. When I rang reception on Sunday the guy said he would look into and get back to us. He didn'T. Others in our group reported problems with in house movies. The tv in 312 didn't work on day one and was not repaired until Saturday. Our mini bars were not replenished on Sunday. We ordered a 6 seater taxi from reception on Sunday night for Monday morning trip to airport. It didn't arrive and when we checked with reception the guy ordered another one but it was too late so we needed to take two standard taxis. It was obvious the original booking had not been made. Room service was very slow and in one order to 312 was missing side dishes. Some rubbish was not cleared and fresh glasses were not returned to cupboard when rooms were made up.
